Yeah, I totally agree with Demis Hassabis on this one. AI is like a super-powered microscope, helping us zoom in on the tiniest details of reality. It’s crazy to think that machines can help us understand stuff we never thought possible.
Take AlphaFold, for example. It’s basically cracked the protein folding problem, which is a huge deal in biology. With AI’s help, we might be able to develop new medicines and treatments for diseases we couldn’t even touch before.
Of course, AI won’t replace human scientists, but it can definitely give them a massive boost. Imagine having a super-smart assistant that can crunch numbers, analyze data, and spot patterns that we might miss. It’s like having a team of geniuses working 24/7.
So yeah, while we might not unlock the secrets of the universe just yet, AI is definitely going to be a game-changer in our quest to understand reality.
